Happy Resurrection Day from the Blue Ridge Mountains!!

Russell and I got to spend last Friday through Easter Sunday with the deVilleneuve's and the Kear's in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia. Oh, it was beautiful! A perfect long weekend, although it sure could've lasted longer!!
We rented a log cabin! It was 3 levels with a bedroom and bathroom on each, a hot tub just outside, a brand new grill, a great kitchen, living and dining area and, of course, the wrap-around wooden porch with the swing! Picture perfect. We just had a good ole time...cooking fun meals and yummy desserts, enjoying the hot tub, hiking and mountain biking (the guys :)), picnicing in the woods and by the streaming waterfalls, playing a fun game Joker, which I hope will become a Kear-deVilleneuve-Wright tradition (Thanks to Tara's family!) and genuinely enjoying however the Lord led us in our time together!

Above, a group shot in the midst of hiking!! :)

Below, playing joker!! SO much fun!
We've already put in our order with Chris for a hand-made board.
On our drive back, we stopped to tour the Chattanooga Aquarium, which is such a treat and a must-see if you've not yet been. Rollins was not the only one intrigued!! :) One of my favorite verses was certainly 'played out' over the weekend: "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24-25 I appreciate the genuine fellowship and transparency that we get to share with these two families..."Thank you, Ryan & Jenn and Chris & Tara, for loving the Lord first, each other next and then us and others so well! We can't get enough time with y'all!"
"Chris, great planning on this trip! Russell and I are stoked about the next one!"
Hope you (my reader :)) enjoyed a blessed Resurrection Day with loved ones, as well!
